The search for the Chinese Bigfoot also known as Yeren or Chinese wild man in the Shennongjia Nature Reserve in China’s Hubei Province has begun. Thirty eight members of a search team comprised of experts from research institutes and universities are setting out on the expedition which is set to last until august of next year. Wang Shancai the founder of Hubei Wild Man Research Association is leading the expedition.
Hubei Wild Man Research Association is a group of over 100 explorers and scientist who have been searching for the Yeren or Wild Man for years. The year long expedition is comprised of over 50 people in all at a cost of $1.5 million dollars. The crew plans to focus its efforts around the Shennongjia Natural Reserve where they plan to install wireless cameras in caves in hopes for capture tracks of the ChineseBigfoot among other things.
Many media reports are treating this as more of a small undergoing to simply study some of the regions plants and animals but don’t let watered down reports fool u this is a serious and well funded Yeren expedition.
